Evenflo Revolve360 Slim Recall: What Parents Need to Know

On September 25, 2025, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced a recall affecting certain Evenflo Revolve360 Slim and Gold Revolve360 Slim convertible car seats. Here’s everything you need to know if you own one of these seats.

What’s the Recall About?

  • Issue: Some children can easily access the headrest foam and pick at it, which poses a choking hazard.
  • Affected Units: Approximately 325,000 car seats are included in this recall.
  • Models Impacted:
    • Evenflo Gold Revolve360 Slim
    • Evenflo Revolve360 Slim
    • MODEL NUMBERS: 36812450AZ, 36812450POP, 36812501A, 36812470TGT, 36812470A, 36812469AZ, 36812468AZ, 36812467AZ, 36812451AZ, 36812449AZ, 36812504, 36812451, 36812450, 36812449, 36812501, 36812471, 36812470, 36812469, 36812468, 36812467
  • Manufacture Dates: December 1, 2022 through December 8, 2024 (check your seat’s sticker for the exact date of manufacture).
  • YOUR SEAT IS SAFE TO USE! This is a choking hazard. NOT a crash hazard.
  • This has nothing to do with the revolving mechanism in the seat.

If your child is picking at the foam, call Evenflo customer service ASAP: 1-800-233-5921 (or 1-800-265-0749 in Canada) If your child isn’t picking at the foam, monitor them in the seat and install the remedy kit as soon as it arrives.

If your seat is a part of the recall, Evenflo will mail owners additional tape seal and installation instructions, free of charge. Or you can contact customer service: 1-800-233-5921 (or 1-800-265-0749 in Canada). You can also email them at: parentlink@evenflo.com.

Recalls do happen. Thankfully, like this one, most are not a reason to panic. This is why you always register your seat so manufacturers can contact you in the event of a recall.

How Do I Check What Model Number I Have?

If you're unsure, you can check your model number located on the back of the car seat shell. Look for the white label on the side of the seat with the date of manufacture and model number.

What Parents Should Do

  1. Check Your Seat:
    • Look at the white sticker on the back or bottom of your car seat.
    • Confirm the model name and manufacture date fall within the recall range.
  2. Do Not Stop Using the Seat:
    • NHTSA and Evenflo have not stated that the seat is unsafe for travel if used as directed. The recall is specific to the foam headrest material.
  3. Remedy Provided by Evenflo:
    • Evenflo will mail affected owners an additional tape seal and installation instructions at no cost.
    • This will help secure the foam in place so children cannot remove it.
  4. Notification Timeline:
    • Evenflo plans to mail out owner notification letters by October 31, 2025.
    • If you registered your seat, you’ll automatically get this notice.
  5. Contact Information:

Why This Matters

Even small components like foam inside a headrest can create unexpected risks for children. Choking hazards are a leading cause of unintentional injury in young kids, which is why Evenflo and NHTSA are taking proactive steps to fix the issue.

The good news? The remedy is straightforward and free, and you can continue using your car seat while waiting for your fix kit to arrive.

Key Takeaways for Families

  • This recall does not mean the Revolve360 Slim is unsafe in a crash. It relates specifically to foam pieces in the headrest.
  • If you purchased a Revolve360 Slim between late 2022 and 2024, assume your seat may be affected until you check.
  • Registering your car seat is the best way to ensure you’re notified quickly about recalls like this one.

Bottom line: If you own an Evenflo Revolve360 Slim or Gold Revolve360 Slim made between Dec. 2022 – Dec. 2024, check your seat and register with Evenflo. Expect a free remedy kit to arrive after October 31, 2025. In the meantime, continue using your seat safely as directed in the manual.
