Graco 4Ever DLX Grad (Meets New Standards)
In the past, we have made it known that the 4Ever seats are not SITS favorites due to the bulky backless booster mode. But now, with their 4Ever DLX Grad, Graco has added a 5th mode, with a seat belt trainer that’s very similar to the Graco Right Guide. This is a very low-profile backless booster that we really like. This version also features SnugLock, which makes the installation in the rear and forward-facing harness modes very simple.

Joie Matcha Spin SI
A versatile 3-in-1 rotating car seat, the Joie Matcha Spin SI stands out for its 360° swivel, built-in lock-off, and solid safety features that make daily use and installation easier. It’s a great fit for families prioritizing convenience and longevity, though it may not be ideal for tighter three-across setups or air travel.

Britax One4Life Slim (Meets New Standards)
The Britax One4Life Slim is the newest all-in-one car seat from Britax. The Britax One4Life Slim comes with the ClickTight installation seen on their other convertibles and the tall harness height from the original One4Life has remained as well. It also has removable, dishwasher-safe cup holders. Check out our Britax One4Life Slim car seat review below to see if it is the right seat for your child!

Britax One4Life (Meets New Standards)
The One4Life comes with the ClickTight installation that we absolutely love. It makes the installation so quick and easy for caregivers. It also has a no-rethread harness with 15 headrest positions, which makes it easy to adjust the harness height as your child grows. It fits kids, with comfort, of many ages and sizes. Check out our Britax One4Life Car Seat review below to see if it is the right seat for your child!

Clek Liingo (Meets New Standards)
The Clek Liingo is a great choice for parents who primarily travel via ride-share services. This seat does not come with a car seat base, so you don't have to worry about storing or getting rid of a piece you don't need. This also makes the seat a lot more affordable for parents on a budget. The Liingo has lower anchors attached via a storage compartment. This compartment can be removed in order to make the seat a little lighter if you prefer a seat belt installation. The Clek Liingo is compatible with many of the most popular stroller brands as well, with adapters, so it's easy to customize your perfect travel system.

Safety 1st Comfort Ride (Meets New Standards)
The Safety 1st Comfort Ride is one of the most inexpensive seats that has a no-rethread harness! It can harness average-sized children until around five years of age, and it also has high back and backless booster modes. It’s also very lightweight, so it could be a good option for parents who travel frequently. We did have some issues with the child fit in the backless booster mode; see below.

Clek Foonf (Meets New Standards)
The Clek Foonf, introduced in 2012, has become a trusted choice for parents in the US and Canada. It’s one of the narrowest car seats on the market today, and it stands out as one of the only harnessed seats in both countries that features rigid lower anchors for forward-facing installation. This unique characteristic is an energy management feature that reduces the crash forces that go to the child. It also boasts advanced safety features for rear-facing mode, such as an anti-rebound bar that minimizes seat movement during crashes. With its longevity in the market and commitment to safety, the Clek Foonf continues to be a go-to car seat for parents seeking reliability, versatility, and the capability to accommodate multiple car seats side by side.

Graco Extend2Fit 2-in-1 (Meets New Standards)
The Graco Extend2Fit was one of the first convertible car seats with a 50-pound rear-facing limit, and it’s still a well-loved car seat today! The original Graco Extend2Fit is a relatively inexpensive convertible car seat for parents who want to rear-face higher-percentile children as long as possible. It’s also one of the best convertible car seats for small cars, making it a great option for tall front-seat passengers, compact vehicles, or any situation with limited front-to-back space!

Graco Turn2Me (Meets New Standards)
If you have been looking at all of the car seats with a rotation feature and were wondering if there was one available that is compact, this new version of the Graco Turn2Me (meets new side-impact standards) may be the seat you are looking for. If you desire a swivel seat that is compact front-to-back but also fits newborns, we would recommend looking at the Nuna Revv instead. We’ll explain further down in this post why we don’t recommend using the Graco Turn2Me from birth. However, if your child is at least 6 months old, this option may work for you.

Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 (Meets New Standards)
The original Graco Extend2Fit (review) convertible car seat was one of the first with a 50-pound rear-facing limit! This updated version is even better than the original! It’s still one of the best convertible car seats for small cars, making it a great option for tall front-seat passengers, compact vehicles, or any situation with limited front-to-back space! The Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 has an easier-to-tighten harness and a high-back booster mode. It also doesn’t have the under 40-pound forward-facing recline issue that the original Extend2Fit does.

Evenflo Shyft DualRide (Meets New Standards)
The Evenflo Shyft DualRide is a unique car seat that also functions as a stroller. As of today, the DualRide and the Doona are the only two infant seats on the market that have this feature — all other infant car seats have to be clicked into a separate compatible stroller. If you want to compare Doona versus DualRide, watch this. Here’s the Doona review.
The DualRide has the unique ability to detach the stroller wheelbase from the carrier, leaving you with a standard infant carrier! This car seat was designed to make traveling with a baby easier and more convenient, eliminating the need to carry around a separate stroller — but with the option to skip the stroller wheels, this car seat can truly transform into the most convenient solution for any situation. It’s an excellent option for busy parents who love the idea of a stroller and car seat in one.

Evenflo Revolve Extend (Meets New Standards)
If you are looking for a swivel car seat, the Evenflo Revolve Extend may be right for you! This seat offers a decent newborn fit, so it could be used from birth if you want to skip the infant car seat stage. It has a tall harness height, so it’s a long-lasting option for rear and forward-facing. And it offers high-back booster mode as well! This seat can swivel in all three modes of use, making it a useful accessibility tool for caregivers or children with disabilities.

Graco Slimfit (Meets New Standards)

Chicco Myfit (Meets New Standards)
If you are looking for a forward-facing-only seat, this will likely be a good contender for you! With a 54″ standing height limit for the harness mode, this seat has higher limits than almost every harness seat on the market! It’s a great option for tall kids, and it’s fairly narrow as well, so it will work in some 3-across situations as well.
