Easier Buckle Access

Diono has designed the Connect3 R booster with easy access to the seat belt buckle in mind.  Even with two of these boosters side by side, it's still easy to access the buckles due to the way the belt path is designed.

Seat is Good for You If:

You need to fit three across

If you need to fit 3 across and at least one of your kids is in a booster, this is a good option to try before going to a backless booster or the Ride Safer Travel Vest. It's narrow enough that it may work for you!

You have non-removable headrests.

If you have a vehicle with non-removable forward-tilting headrests, your high back booster options are limited. But this booster, and any of the other Diono boosters, will work with those kinds of headrests.

Use Caution:

This version does not have lower anchors.

Not having lower anchors does not affect the safety of this product. The important thing to note is that children should be taught to buckle in their seat when they are being dropped off to school or other activities. This keeps the booster from becoming a projectile in the event of a crash.

Child Fit Information

We had an almost 10 year old with us. She was 57 pounds and 53." This booster gave her a great seat belt fit. She found the shoulder belt guide easy-to-use and she thought the booster was comfortable.

SITS Bottom Line

The Diono Connect3 R high-back booster comes in a variety of fun colors, breaking away from the typical gray and black options. It's a good choice for families needing three across or dealing with non-removable, forward-tilting headrests. Although it lacks lower anchors, teaching kids to buckle it in helps prevent it from becoming a projectile.
